About Us

Our business is a collaboration between two families. John Harper and Fred Pye have worked together for over 30 years and are joined by Rita Harper and Catherine Pye. Recent arrival Ross Harper adds to the team, meaning that we can offer you the highest level of service at all times. Originally based at 176 Victoria Road West in Cleveleys, we have since expanded to offer a wider choice of furnishings so as to supply you with even more opportunities to decorate your home the way you want.

We have a broad range of skill gained through practical experience. As well as carpet fitting, John has extensive knowledge of curtains, and it was this that led us to expand our remit to encompass curtains and wallpaper. Fred, meanwhile, is a fully-qualified master carpet fitter and also works as an assessor for the National Institute of Carpet Fitters, maintaining the high standards he sets himself and passing his knowledge onto others. Our work has won national carpet-fitting awards - we really are at the top of our trade.

We pride ourselves on delivering top-quality work and finishing every job to the most exacting standards. Our reputation for being the best in our field has enabled us to work on a number of prestigious projects including Blackpool Grand Theatre, the executive boxes at Preston North End football club, and even the catamaran used in the James Bond film The Living Daylights. We are confident of doing a first-class job, no matter what problems we may encounter along the way.

As well as providing the furnishings you're looking for, we offer a complete interior design service using computer simulations to give you a preview of your proposed colour scheme. This way, you can find out in advance what you'll be getting, and know that you're being advised every step of the way by seasoned industry experts. Our service is an in-house one: you'll always be dealing with the same people, and this continuity ensures that you'll get exactly what you want.
